Help me with my wiring of my halway lights?


Question:please help, i have recently rewired my home and i am having difficulty linking my hallway lights.
my house has 3 floors and each floor has its own lighting circuit with the hall light being the last on all rings
i now wish to use the hall lights using 3 core and earth
i would be grateful if some one who knows what they are doing can help with either diagrams or a very detailed explination

They have diagrams for several different circuits there with physical sketches also


if you have bought the switches required they should of come with diagrams with them if not email me and i will send as attachment.
As I read it, you have 1-way switching working on the lights and you now want to convert it to 2-way for each floor.

OK,
For your 1-way switching you go in at Common and off at L2.
Get that working.

Run your 3-core+e from switch a to switch b.
For 2-way; make these changes.
IN at L1, off at L2 and connect together (using 3-c&e)
Common a to common b,
L1a to L2b and
L2a to L1b
Sleeve all conductors with Brown.

Label the inside of each switch to remind yourself and anyone else that there are two different circuits in the switch...
