I have a stripped screw, but i can't replace it. Is there any "makeshift" way do get it to turn?

Question:it's a hexa-something, can't remember the name. It needs an L wrench to screw it in. any ideas?

Answers:
Is the screw or the hole that the screw threads into stripped. If it is the hole, the thing you need is a "Heli-coil" you have to drill and tap the hole and place the heli-coil in the hole to provide you with the same size screw as the original hole. you should be able to get them at most any parts house.

You can wrap duct tape around it and then use a screwdriver.
There are screw remover bits available. They work by biting into the metal head of the screw, creating their own grabbing surface. You will need a drill driver to use them though.
There are a variety of screw extractors on the market. Check a hardware or Home Center.
Take a hammer and a torx tip, probably a #2, pound on the tip to created an indentation, then use your screw gun with the torx tip und push down hard as you back out the screw.
If that doesn't work just take a drill bit and drill it out.
Try taking a hack saw blade and cutting a notch all the way across the screw head, but not too deep. Then you should be able to use a flat screwdriver in the notch.
