How can I install drip edging on a roof after the shingles are on?

Question:I bought my house and noticed no drip edging was installed. I want to put it on so to put any stop to current or future water damage.

Answers:
If the shingles are not too brittle, just pull up the edge of the shingles and install it as you normally would. After installing get some plastic roof cement in caulking tubes and go along and just use a little to glue down the edges of the shingles( about 1 1/2 to 2 inches under the edge.)

lift up the edges of the shingles slid the edge in and nail, then use roof mastic to seal the shingle back down, the mastic will come in a pail or you can get it in caulking tubes.
