Clock Repairs I have a machanical wall clock & the chimes are out of syc with the time! Advise pls.?

Question:

Answers:
Changing the hands position is often not possible becuase the holes are shaped to go on one position only. This is how you do it-- Slowly move the minute hand backwards, you will hear a click at every chime time. Keep moving the minut hand backwards (slowly) and stop when you are 5 minutes later than the last chime. Now slowly move the minute hand forward untill it clicks, stop there and let it chime keep doing this untill the chimes are caught up with the actual current time.

If in doubt give it a clout!!

In other words bash it one lololol
How about taking the hands off and put them back on in the right place to coincide with the chimes? S'easy.
Make sure that the wall, the clock is leaning against is, in a straight line, no bumps, no dents, and the clock pendulum will have easy swing with easy gravitation movement.
