Does anyone know of a good knitting website?
Question:I just learned how to knit from a website knittinghelp.com which is great, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other ones, that have free easy to understand videos. I've learned to knit stitch and pearl stitch.but I still don't know how to do anything else.
Answers:
Knittinghelp.com has the only free online knitting videos I know of. If you learn better by watching than from books, try joining a local knitting group. At mine, the more experienced knitters (and crocheters, too) love teaching "newbies."

For knitting books, visit your local library and get at least one book for adults & one for kids. If you don't understand something in the adult book, look it up in the kids' book. Kids' knitting books use simple language & have lots of pictures.
My sister has knitted all her life.
I've never done it, only made Afghans.
