Can I use a right handed screwdriver on left handed screws?
Question:I
Answers:
You can. However it can be very dangerous and has been know to kill some people. You should only attempt this if you are a qualified screwdriver technician with at least a certificate IV in screwdriver operation.
it depends if your left or right handed yourself
Um, I hope you're kidding, but just in case you're not...you can use any screwdriver you have. They don't come in right and left handed designations. Screws can be found that are left or right-hand threads, but that refers to the direction they are turned in. You can use any screwdriver that fits the screw head..slotted, phillips head, etc.. Good luck
No. Your hand will drop off.
no.you can't any more than you can use nails that have the head on the wrong end.
Certainly not, everything will fall apart,
the best is to use both hands just to be safe(.buy the way do you have a metric crescent wrench ??) they are on sale at wall mart
Yes you can, but you have to use your left hand and turn the screw anti-clockwise.
No!!!!
I don't think you're intelligent enough to handle a screwdriver or any other sharp metal object.
You can, however, most experts advise against it. If you try to use a right handed screwdriver on a left handed screw with your right hand you a only going to strip out the screw. The trick is to use your right handed screwdriver on you left handed screw using your left hand while massaging the screw driver shaft and singing All Out Of Love by Air Supply softly to the head of the lefthanded screw. I hope this helps.
not if you`re blonde
While you're at it, ask for the skyhook, & the long stand... :)
Why soitanly. I keep mine with my left handed hammer.
Depends if you're using left handed screws or right handed screws. Also check if they are metric or S.A.E. You could have problems if you tried to use a right handed metric screwdriver with a S.A.E. right hand screw, and vice-versa.
I don't think there is a left handed screw.cause in tightening you would say "lefty loosey, rightey tightey".
Absolutely not! Go to the hardware store and buy a left-handed screwdriver immediately!
There is no such thing as a left hand screwdriver. So you can use a normal screw driver for either left or right handed screws.
hi
if it a standard screwdriver no u need a metric one
No problem providing you have a marginal thrip convertor. Its a matter of torque and usually the thrip tends to get stuck in the glimp tube. The convertor solves the problem at a stroke and gives you far more pressure wilt when you twist and as a result the orientation of the screw thread is rendered nuetral. You can therefore screw away to your hearts content.
Not if the screws are clutch head screws, they only turn to the right.
Yes, and you can also buy sky hooks.
no
Just in case you're not kidding, there ars such things..
Had a few , but suspect they were modified square shank gunsmith's drivers.
The blades were hollow ground on half of each blade so that the bottom edge would bite in the direction you are turning & still maintain a fit for the width of the slot.
If you were fooling around, you can use any kind to screw yourself.
