Question:I used a wall patch compound and electric sander.when I
used a primer..it looked very patchy...more wall board tore.
What can I do?

Answers:
Once you have torn the white paper off your drywall and exposed the brown paper underneath, you have to seal the brown areas or your paint and your drywall mud (spackle) will just create more bubbles and you will loose more paper. The brown paper underneath is very absorbent.

The best way to seal it is to paint the brown paper with a clear varnish. When it dries sand the loose pieces, then proceed with filling in the spots with drywall mud. Sand patches as necessary. Once you are happy with the finish, paint as usual.

You can use spakle or dry wall mud to fill the areas in then sand with fine sand paper until smooth and no visable ridges where you filled it in.
You may need to use a spackle product first to form a new barrier between the gypsum ( white chalky stuff) and the paint. The gypsum will absorb the paint and make it look blotchy. You'll probably need to spackle the whole wall.
Floating drywall is not a DIY if you want it to look like a pro. Call a pro.

go with the first answer u got and use a 6" dry wall knife, its so simple a cave man could do it ! /
We just did this same thing 2 weeks ago... Our paper was even on the ceiling.. What I did was did a knock down on the ceiling and then used a 12" drywall knife and did a skim coat on the walls. The room looks great.. Just moved the furniture back in last night.. I do not recommend an electric sander for the walls just use a sponge or soft type sanding block.. Also if you do not coat every bit of the wall you should only use flat paint or your patches will show!!
