Slippery Shed Ramp?
Question:I built a ramp for my shed, it's 48 inches long and the shed floor is 12 inches high. It's constructed with 4 2X6 Pressure Treated boards for framing, and deck planking for the ramp itself. But when it rains it gets slippery. I purchased 3M traction tape, and placed 63 inches on each plank, but the first rain it started separating from the wood. It may be because the treated wood, i don't know. I tried to staple the strips down, but they tear when I drive my mower on now. I was thinking of adding some sand to some paint and painting the ramps and take the 3M tape off, but I don't know if that will work either.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I love liquid nails. Glue the strips down.
Your in luck, There is a paint at lowes that has sand in it. Made just for what you need. Go see the pros...at Lowes
create a plank like walk.
1) use either small metal strips ( about 1/4" x 1/4" x width of your ramp.) or wood strips (but wood will break relatvly easy under the weight of a lawnmower)
2) lay them across the width of the ramp about 4" spaced apart (start at the bottom and space up the ramp, like rungs of a ladder)
3) attach them mechanically (screws or fasteners) not with glue.
if you are driving a riding lawnmower on them you might want to use something a bit thicker than 1/4 x 1/4 inch, so as not to bend them when driving.
The sand in the paint will work but you will need to wait till the treated lumber is at least a year old and has weathered a bit. If you don't your paint will not stick.
Put a clear or gray floor paint with sand from Home Depot.
Replace the ramp boards with standard construction lumber painted with exterior grade traction paint. No matter what you do to the treated lumber it will NOT like paint. Be sure to seal all four sides.
