Can i put my dishwasher anywhere in the kitchen?
Question:I don't want to dismantle my new kitchen cupboards to house my dishwasher, the only place for it is in the corner of the kitchen adjacent to my back door, next to that is my sink. Can i have pipes coming under my back door?
Answers:
not really but you can if you can do the plumbing... most drain lines and water supply lines are 8 ft. max unless you can run copper and know how to flare the fittings
Get a portable dishwasher. They are on wheels, roll up to the sink, and has a hose that attaches to the faucet:

I have one, and I love it!
You fail to mention whether your dishwasher is a "portable" one or is it designed to be built-in to the cabinets. If it's a portable model, it can be placed most anywhere provided that the hot water supply line, the drain line and the electric cord can reach the kitchen sink/ faucet and a suitable receptacle. If it's designed to be built into the cabinetry, you will need to re-think things. Built-in dishwashers need a 24 inch opening beneath the countertop and are then slid into place and secured. The water supply lines and the drain are then tied into the kitchen sink supply and drain - this is why you always see built-in dishwashers right next to the kitchen sink. Trust me - you would not want a dishwasher that's designed to be built-in exposed in any way.
you will have to install a drain similar to a washing machine stand pipe make sure the drain has to be above the top of the dishwasher and the hot water can hooked up anywhere
I would say you can put it wherever you want it.All it has to have is water to and drainage from to work...
