How do you remove Scotch brand mounting tape without ruining your walls?
Question:I've mounted cardboard prints on my walls with Scotch 3M heavy duty mounting tape. I'll be moving soon, so I'll need to remove them. When I tried to pull it off, a small piece of my wall came with it. How do I remove my pictures from the wall without completely ruining it?

Get your hair dryer, heat it up then pull it off..Your going to get a lot of answers to use Goo Gone, if you want to get high and brain damage use it..
Goo Gone found in the cleaners section at stores
If the tape is on a wall painted with a flat finish you're SOL.
If the wall has a shiny finish you can try 'GooGone' it will help dissolve the adhesive.
DO NOT use googone if the wall has flat paint!
Otherwise 'pull and patch'!! Get some spackling paste and smooth it on over the damaged areas.
And don't use tape on the wall ever again.
The best way would be to use your hair dryer on low heat and it will remove it without damage to paint.
