Rustoleum epoxyShield for garage floors?
Question:I've seen this advertised, and we just bought a new house. My hubby works in the garage alot and I was wondering if you all had any opinions, tips or warnings about this product. Is it worth the effort?
Answers:
This is a great product. Prep is very important. The garage floor should be acid washed at a minimum. don't worry this is easily done yourself. If you plan to park a car in the garage, shot blasting is needed to give a good mechanical bond prevent the epoxy from peeling. Shot blasters such as Blastrac can be rented at your local rental yard.
Sorry, I have never heard of it. Have you tried looking it up online. Go to some sights for guys.. Like monster garage or something!
FANTASTIC PRODUCT. I swear by it.
its nice and not that hard to apply. all u needs is a roller and a pan or a 5 gallon pale with a 5 gallon screen.make sure to mix all gallon together so u get a even color before u paint.which is called boxing. then paint the floor let it dry and ur all done. enjoy
it worth of buying this product `cause of oil spillage ,easy to clean and look nicer than bare concrete floor, you can style as marble or racing stripes
this product can be found in paint department at any LOWES store.one of the easist projects you can do.if you have trim on the walls tape them off.the product when dried will be hard to get of trim.if you have drain tape it up also.you apply with roller or paintgun.do this in sections so if your using the flakes you wont have to back track over wet paint
