How do you make the ink pen's ink come out?

Question:I have this ink pen that has alot of ink near the top, but does not want to go down the thin wireing to the actuall ball part. Do I heat the ink so it'll be liquidy so it'll come down? or what?

Answers:
First try hairspray. Yes..I said hairspray. And if that doesn't get it all out there is a product called De-Solv-It. I have never tried it yet on ink, but it works fantastic on many "sticky" problems. I keep it on my shelf at all times and wouldn't be without it.
