What can I do to get rid of bats from an attic?
Question:

Bats are so beneficial and also endangered - they eat up to 500 mosquitoes per hour and are vital to the health of your local ecosystem. They are living in your house because they can't find an appropriate natural roosting area. If the bats arent making your life difficult, consider not evicting them. But if you must evict, wait until after August. June July and August is when the bats have their babies and the babies cannot fly properly and you should not disturb them until they are older.
If the bats are disturbing your peace, then there is a way to humanely remove them, provide them a new roost, and keep them in the local ecosystem to control pest insects. The link below explains step by step how to ascertain the bats' exit hole from the house, how to build or order a bat house and mount it near the exit weeks before eviction so they become accustomed to it, how to block off the exit after they leave to hunt, and how to ensure they will find and enter the bat house when they return later that night. Remember to inspect the attic for babies before you block off their entry hole. And also, please know that there are no bloodsucking bats in the US and bats have less incidence of rabies per individual than raccoons.
Buy some baseballs-put up some signs and some kids will take them off of your hands.
well, i once had some product that was spiral-shaped, and u lit it from the tip and it didnt catch on fire it just would slowly burn releasing smoke. its used to drive away mosquitoes and flies, but im sure it will work on bats
Use an sonic or Ultrasonic Pest repellent.
We had this problem in a house that had recently had the roof tinned. The capping they put on the tin was not secured properly and the bats were getting in under the roof cap. My best advice is to decipher where they bats are getting in and out first, and make sure you can seal up this exit/entrance point. Then follow what the earlier poster said, get your bat house ready and best of luck to you!
Bats may have their finer points, but not in my house!
