Average living room dimensions?
Question:I need to get an estimate for flooring for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house that is about 1100 sq ft. I don't know the exact dimensions of the room. It's a pretty average-sized living room.

Carpet is sold in 12 foot wide rolls. Most builders know this and make the room 12 feet wide. The lenth will vary from 13 to 18 feet. if it's longer than 18 feet then it is probobly wider than 12 feet also. There is no standard size as each house plan is unique, but for your house size 12 x 16 or 18 would be a good guess.
I'm thinking maybe 10 by 20 ish... give or take. That's about what mine is.
15x15 that would be 225 s.f.
there really is no average, unless you are dealing with the same builder in the same neighborhood. Mine is 16x26, and my house is only 1000 sq ft.
Just drop a tape measure, measure length by width
and that gives you the rooms sq footage.
Are you just adking about the living room dimensions?? All living rooms can be of different sizes. I don't understand why you can't measure it. Or are you doing the whole house?? Don't understand..sorry.
