turn the water off on the left, flush the toilet, scoop the water out... unscrew it take it off, unscrew the pipe going into the tank also, scrape off the old wax ring and any other crap... (no pun intended) put the wax ring on the opening of the drainpipe put new toilet on put bolts on caulk around the edges... replace the wax ring and make sure the exit of the toilet and the opening of the drain are sealed by the wax ring and your done
It is very easy reach behind the old toilet and turn off the water feed line.Then flush toilet and hold flushed to remove as much water as possible.After that disconnect the feed line at the bottom of the tank.When your done with that pop off the plastic caps on both sides of the stool and remove nuts.Your all set to pull the toilet.If you have a new toilet follow the manufactures assembly instructions.Don't forget to remove the wax ring and replace with a new one just reverse the procedure to install the new toilet.Good luck.
Shut the water off and the flush the toilet. Use a sponge to get rid of any water left in the tank and the bowl. Remove the 2 nuts on the bottom of the toilet that hold it to the floor. Disconnect the water line from the shut off valve, and you can then remove the toilet. Before reinstalling it, you need to replace the wax ring on the bottom. They are available at any hardware store.
remove the tank first. shut the water off, flush toilet and empty tank. disconnect supply line and unscrew nuts holding tank to base. remove tank out of way.
remove two china capps at base of base and unscrew exposed nuts from flange. lift and remove base out of the way. remove old gooey slimey wax ring from exposed sewer line. clean up as good as possible. CHECK flange and make sure it is still good and secure to floor! if it's loose replace with new flange.
to install revese these instructions. follow all directions on new wax ring, and, if needed, flange. AND REMEMBER WHEN INSTALLING, porcelin breaks and chips very easily! be careful with all hand tools around new unit! GL with it!
