I have termite problems! What can I do besides call professionals cuz all they seem to do is take my money.?
Question:Each year termites starts coming out around this time. I am starting to see the wings on the floors but very few around. I know its about time for them to start coming out so I want to be prepared on what to do. They infest my basement first than they come up to my 2nd floor and it gets pretty bad. We have called terminex and they have been coming and leaving bait but I dont think they work because 2 weeks later they come back even worse. This year I want to take care of the termite problem myself because terminex has been billing me too much for their service and it hasnt been doing anything. I know there are plenty of termite products out there but which ones are most effective? I live in northern new jersey in a wooded area. Please let me know what I can do about this termite problem. If what you say is correct, then you should read your contract with Terminex as most of these companies guarantee their work. If there's no guaranty in the contract, I would call another exterminator right away and have your house termite proofed. If you have them in your cellar then they are definitely in the wood work of your home. Tell, Terminex about this and tell them you want your money back or at least some of it. Be sure to get another exterminator at once, as termites can really wreck the house frame work and cause a lot of damage.
Because you state they are in the House and are bad I will not go further and tell you how to do it yourself as I think it's too late for that, you need professional help now!! Good luck, would be curious to know how you make out on this problem.
I had Terminex--they installed their termite system ---but it did not work. In the spring---the termites were still there. Maybe check with another pest control service.
Theres a blue spary that we used on the fleas on our dog it works with any insects.
they have the new sprinkle & water stuff, or you can buy the same poison / bait systen at a home depot, solutions pool store, feed store & apply your self
dry wood termites require a tent & gas
You should buy a lot of fire insurance on your house and then burn it down..no more termite problem.
