Can I silkscreen and/or heat press a non-woven polypropylene tote?

Question:

Answers:
Yes polypropylene can be screened.

Have you silk screened before?
If so have you only screened on cloth?

If you screen on a surface that does not absorb ink...Like a sign or polypropylene its different.

You will need "Off contact".. The way you screen on a non absorbing surface is to make your setup and target the image(s).Secure the work to be screened to keep it from sliding or coming up..

Then provide the off contact. Go under the frame and put stacks of cardboard between the worktable and the frame...Then as you are screening the silk will be pulled away from the work piece...

Email me if this doesn't make sense and I will try to explain further...

Can the effect be done by airbrushing?
Its faster and easier......
