Answers:
warm water and a rag and some elbow grease

The good ole WD-40!
Try using finger nail polish remover also. !!
If you don't have any WD40 then try some cooking oil, it should soften it I think, then scape off but don't scape with a metal tool
wd-40
cookin oil
or peanut butter
why u may ask?
well they r all oil based,
peanut butter will get chewin gum outta hair 2.
A little bit of lighter fluid on a rag or gas can do the trick but it can damage the paint with the rubbing action. Acetone based nail polish remover will also but it too will damage paint. All of the above works real well on glass or chrome though.
First of all, rubbing alcohol is like 59 cents per quart..
Secondly, I wouldn't put that on my car anyway.

Try blasting the area with a hair dryer to loosen up the glue.
Then wipe clean with warm moist cloth that has mild soap on it.
A great product in a small can like 3in1 oil called Goof Off is good at taking many sticky things of of non-plastic.
Pam spray or cooking oil
lestoil floor cleaner and a hot rag...
wd 40
peanut butter will make it come off..then use soap and water on peanut butter
WD-40 or GOO-B-GONE it works magic on sticky things .
