I don't want to alarm anyone...?
Question:To cut a long story short i managed to nail both my legs to the chair i am sitting on.
I have learnt my lesson and this will be the last time i try to put together a bird house on my lap with power tools and large nails.
The thing is i am bleeding quite badly and the computer (and the chair i am stuck too) is up stairs and the phone is down stairs so it is going to be hard getting down.
I don't want to bother anyone but i really need some advice on how i am going get help before i pass out because of blood loss.

I suggest you scream very loudly and hope a passerby hears you and believes you are actually in trouble. If help doesn't come, I hope you have your power drill handy, because my friend, after all, you are screwed! LOL

kind of jump and scoot the chair all the way to the edge of the stairs. Then, knock yourself down them. This should free you so you can make that phone call. Good luck! Break a leg!

omg r u serious, i`m sorry to hear this. First thing you need to do is at leaste try to get up and make it to the phone, its gonna hurt but atleaste you won`t lose all your blood. Then get the phone and call your mama or someone for help.
Well, look at it this way, if you hit a dog on the side of the road, and you knew it wasnt going to make it, wouldnt you go ahead and just finish it off to keep it from suffering anymore??...(hint)

If this is not your idea of a joke. Look up the closest emergency responder in the net yellow pages and call them. Or print your name and address here, along with your phone number and someone will call you. meanwhile you can be moving you, the chair, and the computer to the phone.

First get the nails out with your teeth
second go downstairs fall down if needed and call for help
third if you survive I hope you kept the receipt for the power tools and nails
fourth return the items and promise never to touch a hammer or screwdriver again
fifth if you live alone you might think about moving into a living assistance home for special needs

ok, you nailed your legs to your chair , while building a bird house? Those would have to be some really big nails , to go through your legs and into your chair!
