Vinyl siding?
Question:Does anyone know about Crane vinyl siding? My question is the contractor told me the siding has built in insulation and fanfold, so does that mean I do not need more insulation and another layer of fanfold, to prevent buckling? Thanks!

The Crane siding with insulation is outstanding.
I am not affiliated with them, but we supply some of their equipment that puts the insulation on the back of the siding. You will not need any more insulation at all, it will be ready to install.

If the exterior wall cavities of your home are not insulated, this would be a good time to have that done too. Have it blown in, the new siding will cover the patched holes. Energy costs are rising all the time. You need all the insulation you can get.
