How much should I charge for this painting job?

Question:My Landlord would like me to paint the awning over her front porch. It is aluminum and the paint is flaking away in big pieces. It is not that big an awning, maybe 8' by 4' or so of surface area. I don't want to charger her to much but I also don't know how long it would take.
Should I just quote her an hourly rate and go from there?

Answers:
a month's free rent should do it! :-)

Charge her for the paint and may be maximum $100.
I would say $100 plus materials.
I charge 3 time the cost of the materials, for friends 2 times but i think your best bet is one month rent free
