Fun summer activities for a preteen!?
Question:I have plenty of fun with my friends. I need ideas for when my friends cant hang out and my parents cant take me anywhere. So basically when I'm stuck at home. Im the only girl in my family, and I like SUPER easy yummy recipes, and cute crafts.

If you head out to a Joanne Fabrics or Michaels craft stores you can just walk around and come up with a ton of ideas. Things like painting creating & decorating picture frames to give to your friends & fam or making necklaces and such. Scrapbooking (like the other person said) is also fun. You can get some disposible cameras and take some great pics of you and your friends or other things to go in the books or just to put in some frames around your room. Also, something I did recently to take my mind off of things and give me something to do was to set up a fish tank and take care of it. If little or no money is the case then you can always get into some sort of games or online groups/chats/blogs or take on some new TV shows.

Something I like to do when I'm bored is make cute jewelry :) You can get really pretty beads at Dollar Tree, Walmart, Michaels, and basically any craft store for really cheap. The dollar tree ones are my favorite. Then get some jewelry wire, and you can make some really cute stuff quickly and for next to nothing. You can also get the earring hooks or hoops and make matching sets. You could even sell them, usually you can sell a set for like 5 times as much as you put into it. And they make great gifts, because they're handmade and that makes it special.
I have bought some cheap plain white T shirts and some cold dyes and intend to do some tie- dying with my children. I am told that you twist segments of the T shirt and wrap elastic bands round before dyeing to create the patterns (but I haven't done it yet!)
