How to rejuvenate a weathered jarrah outdoor setting?
Question:the setting is grey at the moment but to re oil it I would have to pull it to pieces and sand it then oil it so I was wondering if there is any other product i could use like a stain that would give the same effect and also protect it from the elements?

. .GREY DECK CLEANER. .
Hi,
I love Jarrah Timber, with it's deep rich reddish-brown colour. I grew up in Perth and I remember most of the timber used was Jarrah for flooring, outdoor furniture , fences and building work.
Jarrah is a hardwood just like Merbau and they both have a high tannin content. To clean and remove the gray colour go to Bunnings and buy Timber Deck Cleaners.
There is one brand called "Reviver" Timber deck cleaner. The active ingredient in Reviver is Oxalic Acid. That should do the job. If you are still not happy with the results then try caustic soda.
I have used caustic soda on my Merbau timber deck and it work out great. It removed the grey colour and bought out the rich red/brown colour again.
All I did was to dilute some of the caustic soda crystals in a bucket of water a washed the timber with a broom, then rinsed it off.
Before you go a head and do all of your outdoor setting, find a small out of site area and do test to make sure you are happy with the results.
When you have finished cleaning your outdoor setting and you are happy with the restored Jarrah colour, I recommend using Feast Watson® Decking Oil in either Natural or Jarrah colour to protect your furniture. When the decking oil is dry not not oily to sit on.
Hope this has helped you out and you start to enjoy your beautiful Jarrah outdoor setting again.

I didn't know what jarrah was, but when I searched the web I found this site. There were others too. Maybe this will help. Good luck!
