Tips on how to reduce clogs in toilets?

Question:A few months ago I had to have a plumber use a snake because I had a clog in my toilet, and that cost quite a bit of money so what are some good tips to prevent clogs in my toilet?

Answers:
Your friendly neighborhood hardware store or DIY store should have and inexpensive snake for that purpose.

Don't flush anything but body waste and toilet paper.
And don't use a whole roll of TP
Do you live on a system maintained by the town/city, or do you have a septic system? If you have a septic tank, use RidX (or something to that effect) It is supposed to help your septic system run smoother.

Other than that, I don't know what to say except use less toilet paper and eat more fibre!
believe it or not i pour HOT water down it if i notice it flushing slowly , and plunge it regularly
I recomment do not use toilet prevent clog
If its not human waste don't flush it. Put a waste basket by your toilet and put all your TP there. Especially baby wipes!
