How to finish hardwood floor install against a wall?

Question:

Answers:
pull the baseboards

Edward is correct. In any wood or tile flooring I install keeping the substance a short fraction from the walls allows for goofs (for one thing) such as mismatched cuts etc. Expansion lengthwise isn't an issue so much as perhaps the butt/seams. The molding removed allows that once the floor is installed, and the molding is replaced, the fit looks perfect.
