How do you turn your electricity back on onced it was disconnected?
Question:My electricity was cut off and I begged the guy to turn it back on. My bill said I had 13 more days but he's saying I was given a disconnect notice which I didnt. My daughter needs breathing treatment so he told me go ahed and turn it back on and said people do it all the time but make sure I pay it soon but do it after he leaves. I have no idea how to do that. It's 100 degrees outside and I was in the middle of cooking my 4 year old daughter some food. Help!!

pay the bill
how are you useing the internet if you have no electricity?
It depends on how it was shut off. Around here they come out and take the meter and put a lock over the hole where the meter went. If that's the case, there is no way to turn it back on. However, if your meter is still connected and if there is a box under your meter, there may be a black switch inside that box. If so just lift the lid on the box and push up on the black switch and it'll come on.
pay your bill
pay the bill..... or go out to the meter box and you will have to cut the lock off. they probably flipped your fuse over..you have to pull the fuse out and flip it over and plug it back in...don't get electrocuted...
This is not a do it yourself project. Its very dangerous and you think you have problems now try getting electrocuted.
if you try to reconnect without any prior experience you are the one who's gone need repiratory assistance... not recomended
they have booted the meter outside the only way to fix it is to remove the boot (little plastic things over the feet of the meter ) but be VERY careful as there are VERY DANGEROUS VOLTAGES in that meter base one slip and you could be toast
Don't do it. Find another way. Take your daughter to the neighbors house or something.
you should go to your town board and report you daughters condition, are you using your home computer, this sounds a little fishy to me,if your daughter is sick, your husband should have gone and paid the bill, also if you have a condition like the one you stated the utility company can"t shut off the electricity, because they could have a big lawsuit in there hands.by putting the power back on you might get a big summons.
Don't try to tamper with the electrical equipment - it is extremely dangerous (and a felony in most areas). Try calling the power company to explain your daughter's condition and needs, and make an agreement to pay the bill. If that doesn't work, try calling the local TV station's consumer help line - maybe they could embarrass the power company into helping you out for a few days.
