Where can i find info on putting on a metal roof?

Question:

Answers:
I know a great metal roofing company.
They'll send you a free installation guide for whatever kind of roof you have.
Here's a link to their website: http://www.metalroofingwholesalers.com...
Here's their toll free phone # 877-646-6382

There is traditional steel roofing that uses nails with rubber gaskets on them. There is newer style metal roofing that overlaps and has concealed fasteners. There is now steel and aluminum roofing that is shaped to look like regular shingles. there is real nice stuff that is shaped to look like wood shake shingles. Metal roofs can be far superior to asphalt shingles. Asphalt shingles don't last that long and they must be torn off and dumped in landfills. Metal roofs can last 100+ years, and if they are replaced, they are 100% recyclable. Of course metal costs much more.
See http://www.mtlsales.com/products/classic... (note that this is a pdf file, may take a few minutes to load). This has some detailed drawings and shows the different trim pieces that are available. It is for a specific manufacturer, but most have similar products.
Wouldn,t the internet have some info? Also go to Menard,s or Home Depot or Lowe,s I,m sure they have info. Do you know anyone who has one? You could talk to them re: how and who did theirs.
