Only if it falls out...Sometimes its the sealant round the bath /sink thats lets in water because it has small hairline cracks...If you ever use a sealant round the bath you must fill it with water first to add weight..This way the sealant bonds better and doesnt let water in...

If it was once waterproof and now has ceased to be, one of two things has happened. Either minute movement in your house has caused it to crack, and water is seeping through, or you just need to buy some fresh sealant, and give it another coat. You can buy these at most DIY shops
