If I use Hem Tape on my outdoor drapes, will they eventually come apart?

Question:I want to make drapes for my outside patio, but do not have a sewing machine and do not have the patience to hand sew. Can I use Hem Tape to hem the drapes or will that be a waste of time? Please help. Thank you for your time.

Yes eventually they will need to be re-done hem tape will not last for ever

Hem tape is extremely useful for many sewing jobs however, since the drapes are going to be on the outside patio, i would not recommend using it. Since you do not have patience to sew, i would suggest that you purchase some drapes for that area.
