Can a drill bit be attached to a dremel?

Question:

Answers:
Well, even if you're able to attach the drill bit to a dremel, there's still a problem with using it.

A drill is much more powerful than a dremel. The theory behind the functions that a dremel can do is the speed of dremel bit and what it can do because it's spinning very fast, that's what makes them more efficient at grinding and honing. Drills have much more power behind the spinning of the bit (but less speed), and that's what makes them able to drive screws in and the like.

If the shaft is small enough, yes. ~
Yes.
yes
Mine came with a drill bit. Don't try to drill anything but wood and the softest of aluminums, though.
As long as it fits the collet, yes. But you'll probably wreck the bit because it wasn't designed to turn as fast as a Dremel will spin it.
Yes but use plenty of coolant on your bit .
