Simple. Hire a plumber. Done, no more worries. With the time you gain, do the things you are good at.
It is very possible that the new faucet is leaking up at the handles and seeping down. re install the faucet. Use Teflon tape on ALL connection
If it is the water supply lines, they may not be tightened enough or may not be compatible with the valves they are attached to.
Before you hire a plumber go see someone at HD, Ace, or somewhere that has someone that can see what your actual situation is.
have you tryed ( SPRAY & SEAL ) you should get it at B&Q or from any builders yard or WICKS.
Tread on the pipes did not seal. Did you use Teflon pipe tape? Re-do the installation at the pipes. Wrap the pipe tape on the threads and screw the fittings back on. Should take care of it.
You have to narrow it down to either the solder connections are leaking, the shut/off valve is leaking, or the faucet installation is leaking and fix accordingly.
the flexible connector hose that runs between the copper pipe and the actual faucet could be the culprit . on both ends it has a rubber O-ring . if tightened too much it is easy to crack . take the hoses off and make sure to replace them if you see any damage to the rubber O-rings . if not then use teflon tape as stated before .
Try using plumbers glue around the elbow pipe if that don't work---get a plumber.
Hi, first thing ,check your washers.Maybe you put them in backwards. That's what I did. When I changed them, it stopped the leaks. Also don't over-tighten them. Finger tighten than a quarter turn with a crescent wrench. No more. Also, check that the nuts don't have any build-up in them, make sure their nice and smooth inside, and always use new washers.Bye
You will probably have to find the leak. If the leak is coming from the pipes that connect to the faucet then it could be that you didnt tighten them down enough. Under faucets you should use a basin wrench to tighten the bolt to the faucet. Dont forget to use teflon tape also, if not that pipe than you might have to take the old piping out and replace it with new copper tubing ang new shut offs. The works.
