Owner builder network?

Question:Has anyone used the owner builer network? Was is worth it? How much do they charge?

Answers:
First, let me tell you that I am an owner of a UBuildIt Franchise which competes with OBN. As far as the industry concept goes, residential construction consultant, it is a very viable and rewarding alternative to hiring a builder to build your home. It is not for everyone and only about 3% of new home construction is being built by owner builders. The rest are being built by professional builders.

With that said, you need to look into the office you are thinking of using. These are franchises and the owners have some leeway on running the office. I hope that you would have a UBuildIt office nearby so that you would be able to compare the different systems.

Even though we are in the same industry, our systems vary greatly and benefit people in different ways. I am not in the position, nor would I offer, any negative comments about my competitors. What I will tell you is that, after careful research into the two systems I can safely say that UBuildIt has a system that is much more hands-on with its clients while still giving them the control and savings our clients are looking for. On the other side, the cost for UBuildIt services tend to run higher than OBN.

Good luck with your decision. It can be very rewarding.
