use a mouse trap as the trigger, tie a wire to the tripper of a set mouse trap. That will give you a hair trigger trip device, the paint expulsion is up to you as i do not know much about paint ball wars. col thing about using mouse traps is that they are cheap and make a loud snap which will cause the victim to look in it's direction.
