How do I dismantle a shower cubicle to replace the tray and then put it back together again?

Question:My shower tray has split and I want to know how to replace it myself as it seems like a simple job. However I dont want to break the glass doors so thought I should ask first before I attack the seal with a knife!

Removing the Doors and screen is fairly straight forward, as the glass will be safety glass just take care you don't twist the glass. Your biggest problem will be removing the Tray and replacing with the New tray. Do some research in how you are going to undo the waste pipe from the tray, IE do you have to remove floor boards and work from underneath, is the tray bedded on to concrete, is the plumbing plastic or copper. Exactly how difficult this particular shower would be to replace would require a on site inspection.
