How do you get the glue cleaned up?

Question:I want to change my stick on floor tile,& wonder how to clean the glue off the floor,so I can redo it without sticking myself to the floor .

Answers:
Goo-be-gone??

What you are wanting to do is next to impossible. There is really no need to remove the old glue, just make sure you don't get a bunch of dirt on the old glue or the new won't stick.

If you're talking about place and press tile. Get a scrap of linoleum from somewhere and put it shiny side down to kneel or walk on while installing.
They sell adhesive stripper at any home store. It works like paint stripper. You can always put the new floor over the old one.
if you are wanting to just get glue off the vinyl just go to hardware store and get (goof off) its the best remover I've ever used. if you are wanting to get to bare wood rent a drum sander and use 16 or 20 grit sand paper it'll take it off but a little bit exspensive.
