How do you get rid of sand hornets?

Question:

Answers:
The material of choice for treating the burrows is a dust-type insecticide, and almost any one will do. The trick is to use a rubber bulb applicator loaded with the insecticide, and inject the material into the hole in a reasonably prudent manner, squeezing the bulb firmly, and then leaving the immediate area fairly quickly. The residual insecticide will be picked up by the wasp when entering or leaving the burrow, and should work within 24-48 hours. If you can't get a bulb applicator, one of the squeeze bottles of the type used for mustard or ketchup works equally well. Just be sure to mark the container carefully so it doesn't get confused with a food container, and keep it in a location where only a knowledgable adult can find it.

The main consideration is to be sure the ground is dry when the work is done as treatment of wet soil is not as effective. This can be repeated as often as necessary, and as the holes appear.

I have never heard of them i have heard of mud dobbers AKA wasp they are the ones that show up when the yard gets muddy from water and playing and making mud

I read what others said if you do what they say use the stuff at night when they are all in there hole. you should never try killing wasp during the day.
