What are some cheap and easy ways to soundproof a room?
Question:Im a drummer/guitarist and the walls around my music room are pretty thin. My drumming drives my parents crazy but i want to be able to jam late into the night. Im kind of broke though, so i need some easy ways to sound proof my music room. My price range is between 0$-100$.

Cheapest way is to glue old egg cartons to the wall, however the look and fire hazard may not be acceptable to you.
Another cheap solution, but still a fire hazard is using foam boarding.
If there is any old carpet somewhere, this may also work for you.
I'm no musician but an old boyfriend of mine who was a drummer used to put carpet sections on his walls/ceiling. I would suspect you could get those small square/rectangular carpet samples fairly cheap somewhere. Eh, just wanted to offer my 2 cents...hope it helps.
