Cindercrete Block painting?

Question:Is there any special paint I should use to paint an outdoor Cindercrete Block wall?
There is an old poor looking coat of some kind of paint already.
I was thinking I would just Powerwash and then paint the wall.

Even the cheapest paint will hang onto cinder block. It doesnt absorb moisture and thus holds the paint very well.

Latex is probably your best choice and rolling it on is probably the method.

Yes, powerwash it and then let it dry out for a couple days and then apply the paint.
