I am looking for the adhesive that newspapers and the banks use to stick DVDs and credit cards to paper?

Question:This is a soft adhesiveth is very sticky but easily removed without staining the paper

Answers:
You can use a hot melt glue. Some are permanent and hard and others are rubbery. The glue comes as round sticks and the hand held applicators themselves are cheap and easy to get at craft stores.

Me too!
It's fantastic stuff, all stretchy!
I hope someone replies soon!
I know exactly what you're talking about. I just don't know what it's called. I would try your local crafts store like a Hobby Lobby.
Maybe silicone?
i think its clear silicone.it rolls off the paper.
I know the sort that you mean, it's a type of sealant/mastic, a sealant should work for you.
I seem to recall that "COW GUM" is the type of product to use.
Rubber cement?
Try a craft shop, card making section.
Hi, I'm sure there are many different names for it, but one of them is called,Museum Adhesive. Look where they have the safety things, you know Like the Earthquake stuff. They keep it there because that's what they use to keep glass Nick-naks from falling off the shelf ,in a earthquake. Bye(at the hardware store)
WH Smith sell rolls of dots of repositionable glue, that should do the trick. It's known as 'bogey glue' in our house!
i think there is a semi curable adhesive made by a firm called dow corning that does exactly what you want.either that or you could pick your nose and use that
