Ok so whats a good way to clean carpets yourself?
Question:I Want to clean my bedroom floor carpet cause I have a few makeup stains here and there, I want to know a cheap way that I can do this?

I would suggest buying a spray for carpet stains, or you could rent a vaccum that cleans carpets.
Try steam cleaning the carpet. Then try pet enzyme cleaner to spray on the carpet to get up anything biological.
Most Home Depots, Lowes, even grocery stores carry porable carpet cleaner rentals. Always works best for me using hottest water possible, soak the area well with the cleaning solution clean in 2 or three directions horizontal, vertical, ahd diagonal.
While renting a cleaner is a good idea, be careful not to "soak" the carpet. If you do not get the majority of the water out of the carpeting and padding, you end up with a stinky mildew problem that cannot be fixed without replacing the carpeting. One or two passes with the machine should do the trick (pre-treat any stains first) and then go over the carpet slowly several times to suck up any water left over.
If you don't want to rent a carpet steamer you can try Spot Shot Instant carpet stain remover (I use the one in the pressurized can). I've used it to get makeup stains out of my beige carpet before. If you also want to do the rest of the room you can use Resolve High Traffic Foam, you just spray it, scrub it in with a brush then vacuum it up when it dries.
