How to build a sound recording booth?

Question:i don't want to spend so much money on that type of thing so i want to build one. If you couyld include all materials and all that stuff please do... thnx

Sound recording booths are not easy. You can do it cheap and easily but the increased fireload may be something more than you wish. True sound recording studio's are built so sound is either absorbed or reflected in a bunch of differant angles. They put differant barriers up to change the direction the sound is going to get a true sound. A cheap method believe it or not is to take egg cartons, and staple them to the wall. Insanely enough it works. There is a LARGE FIRE HAZARD doing this, so keep a fire extinguisher in the room just in case. Something about compressed paper lol. Good Luck
