Attic door with ladder not closing completely how do I adjust to make it close completely? Thanks?

Answers:
see if you can find what is holding it back. get a file and sand it down a few scrapes at a time to get it to where it will fit in smoothly.
Make sure everything is securely tightened down with your screwdriver. It just might need some simple adjusting.

Where is it hanging up? You can probably just tighten the screws in the hinges.
Tighten the springs. There should be a spring on each side of the steps. You have to go up into the attic and while someone closes the steps and pushes up from underneath, take one spring out of it's hook and move it back to the next hook, then do the same thing with the other spring. Have the person then pull down the stairs and back up to see if that solves the problem.
