Crown molding?
Question:but up crown molding?
Answers:
If you are talking about cutting it to fit on an inside or outside corner, it is tricky. If you set it up on your miter saw at the angle it sits, it can be cut on a 45 degree angle. If not, it has to be cut on a compound miter.

Some people build little boxes for the inside corners so the crown meets up square instead of doing the compound miter and coping.

If you are lucky the wall ceiling joint is smooth and straight. If not, it may make it look more obviously bad. I pu up one once, and I found I had a wavy ceiling joint. I carved the upper edge to make it fit better, and still had to bend it.
