Round Up is the leading glyphosphate salt product on the market and it works very well... It is kind of pricey. If you go to your local home improvement place (Home Depot, Lowes) they will have several similar products on the shelves. Compare active ingredients and concentrations and buy what is cheap but contains the same stuff.
Another way is to understand what it is about these products that kills green stuff... SALT. And yes, regular table salt kills grass. Pour it on, water it in. Green things die.
Problem is that eventually they grow back.
If you want to solve this problem forever, without digging up the patio and putting down weed blocking fabric... go to the local lansdcaper's supply company and buy Bromacil. B-cil is a SOIL STERILANT. It bonds with the nutrients in soil and stops anything from growing there for many many years. Apply WITH Round Up for a fast knock down followed by long term control.

Round Up works. Careful where you spray it though cos it can sterilise soil for up to two years.
Dig it up lay a weed suppressant membrane then relay. Job done for good.
This may sound absolutely crazy, but it really works! Put you some cooking grease on the stove and wait until it gets hot like frying hot. When it does, pour it into the spots of the patio that you can get it into. This will kill the weeds and grass. Please be careful!
I would recommend going to your local hardware store and buying roundup. It has always worked for me. You will never stop weeds unless you do have your patio replaced. From the sounds of it your patio has extensive cracks and might need to be replaced. But until then use roundup, costs about 20.00 bucks. If that doesn't work call chem lawn or another company that is licensed to use stronger chemicals.
One gal of vinegar 2 cups salt 8 Tbsp dish soaop
Heat two cups of vinegar to melt the salt add the soap and pour back into gal just. Spray on grass. Takes about 3 days to kill. Bleach will also kill grass as does ammonia as does rock salt before a good rain.
I buy the white vinegar at the dollar store; beats the cost of the expensive stuff.
Unless you seal it completely, it will keep coming back no matter what you do. Roundup works the best, but none of them are pemanent.
I'll have a different opinion that most. I hate Round-Up. I say if you use it you might as well use fertilizer. In my experience it's almost useless... weak and does almost nothing . Go to Home Depot and buy TOTAL VEGETATION KILLER. Mix it stronger than recommended and use a watering can to apply. Just make sure it doesn't run to other places. It kills everything for a year or so.
