Romex 10-2 w-ground. What is the price per foot?

Question:I'm looking for the price you might expect to pay in the hardware store (per foot price or price per roll of x feet), to compare with internet prices.

Answers:
If you are buying 250' rolls you can expect to pay around $
$.60 - .75 per ft but you have to buy the roll.
By the foot is about $1.20

About $.95 a foot is a good rate depending on brand. However, it can go up to about $1.50. Your best bet is to go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy some. I've shopped and shopped for wire on Ebay and other sites and if you really put some effort into it, you might be able to find a deal but probably not. Of course, that's just my $.02.
It's like gas, it depends where you are, copper prices were through the roof, increasing more than 3x that of gas, but have settle down in the past few months, you need to call around, and if you buy it by the foot it is a lot more expensive
