just find a set of trees like 3-4 that aren't to far spread apart. start by placing a board on the tree going against most of the trunk as a support for the frame itself. take board and run them from these to the other ones. try to either make a triangle or square to start and then run boards about every 8 inches across this frame. that should be strong enough. I had one that we just kept adding onto like this and it covered like 9 trees and held about 10 or more of my friends.
I personally like houses that are on the ground because they last much longer. You have to find a huge tree and make sure that you build a proper frame.
