Answers:
go to a homemaker outlet, or bunnings, or myer. or just something that sells stuff for the bathroom. its really up to you of what design you want and what budget you have in mind.
you mean remodel it? ok well in that case if you got about a thousand to spend put in tile every where in it , change the counter tops to the same type of floor you put in then put those fluffy covers over the toliet as far as the shower goes you ran out of money so you now have a half way crappy job done and and it is now a tacky place to clean up in congrates.
depending on how in depth you want to get there are many things you can do. i bought a house last year and the bathroom was definitely something i did NOT like showing to people. but i only have the one bathroom so that made it hard to remodel. i went on a business trip. my parents remodelled for me. it took the whole 2 weeks...but probably less than 8 hour days.
they pulled everything out and started over. first was cleaning it all out after pulling everything. then he started installing the drywall (both walls and ceiling) then came the bathtub. after that put tile down on the floor and installed towel rods, toilet, medicine cabinet and vanity.
it all depends on how big your bathroom is and really what all you want to do. i looked through some books while i was at work at lowe's before i came to any final decisions. so i would suggest looking at some books and magazines.
i've included a link to a before and after picture of my bathroom below
good luck!
I just updated my bathroom very inexpensively. First I repainted the walls after taking down old nasty wallpaper. Then I painted the room a yellow because it was very small and I replaced the medicine cabinet with a nice new mirror. Changed out the light fixture over the mirror to a modern light. Then I painted the vanity white and changed out all the hardware on the vanity and the bathroom hardware. Towel rack, toilet paper holder, hand towel ring with new nickel accessories. Then I added new shower curtains and bathroom stuff. It cost about 350.00 to do and it looks updated and fresh. If you do a total redo and replace tubs and vanity's etc. expect to spend about $10,000. Good Luck
