Who makes the best quality tools?

Question:If there were no limit on price and you were looking for the best quality tools, which brand would you choose. Mostly interested in hand tools. Thanks in advance. Some I know of are matco, snap-on, and craftsman.

Answers:
Kobalt, hands down. Check Lowes.

Kobalt is a division of snap-on, so you have the same quality, but less price because of the name.

Ex: Toyota-Lexus. Honda-Acura

Irwin,Cooper tools (Crescent) Some Stanley Tool Dissten, are only a few.
well lets see, electrical tools= klien, auto= proto,construction=porter-cabl... for power tools, eastwing for hammers and pry bars, dewalt= cordless tools. just my opinion hope it helps.
Makita
Bosch
Craftsman
Bohl
Matco. Snap-On looses because their replacement policy is a lie, they give you the hardest time. Matco is also less expensive, but still expensive.
Definitely Craftsman
For hand tools you can never go wrong buying Craftsman. The price and lifetime warranty can't be beat. Plus the convenience of having a store instead if you ever have a problem.
I see I am amongst my peers here. I love Craftsman flavor tools! They are guaranteed for life, and if you should break one there's always a Sears outlet within reasonable driving distance. I've even had a friend take a cheaper tool for replacing, and since the store didn't have that model they replaced it with the next best model. NOW THAT'S A CLASS ACT!! Also one of the lesser known but also lifetime tools is the NAPA brand. Check your local Napa or car parts store. When you find a brand you like stick with them. You'll only have to make 1 trip if anything does happen!!
Craftsman, hands down. You don't have to hunt down some guy in a truck to replace your tools, and they are more reasonably priced than any other brand with a lifetime warranty. I know you indicated that price is not taken into consideration for this, but let's face it, price is always an issue as well. I will say, however, that Craftsman does not have all the specialty tools that Snap-on has, so sometimes you may not be able to find what you need.
I always try to buy craftsman. They have the best guarantee, even though I do not like Sears in general
The best indicator of good tools is price, they are not cheap. Most major brands are good quality, but some are easier to use than others.

Klein hand tools have been an industry leader for decades, and I found them to be easier to use than most others. They have also been copied more than any other brand, so that should tell you something.
I find that dewalt is the best, next is matco
snap-on there is no one even close.craftsman is junk they used to be good but now they are cheeply made
Dewalt.
Snapon has the best warranty and typically the highest quality. This would also depend on the type of tools you were purchasing.
craftsman
Are you talking about mechanic's tools, not ones for carpentry?
Sears brand, Craftsmen. If you break one go to any Sears store and they will replace it. No questions asked
craftsman r durable the best on the market top of the line since way back
I own all of the above, matco and snap on are excellent but sears has blow out pricing that can some times be to good to pass up on craftsman.

It really doesn't matter as long as it gets the job done use it.
My fiance' loves to use Stanley tools.
