you can call a general contractor, or a carpenter, (ask who they would recommend) or find an ad for someone who does renovations. make sure he is qualified for the job and ask for references, check his references and get all agreements in writing, also do not pay for the job all up front give him a list of payment schedule like 1/4 down, 1/4 half way through and the balance when the job is completed.
