Having blueprints made for an addition.?

Question:I have a program on my pc that I have used to design an addition that I want to make for my house. I want to have sufficient drawing to take to a contractor to quote the work. Who should I contact to get drawings made and how much should I expect to pay?

Answers:
Look up "Printers" in the yellow pages for your area and give them a call to ask what format they need to print out a scale drawing that you have produced on your computer. You will then either need to submit the file to them electronically, such as an email attachment or you will need to bring a copy of the file to them at their place of business. Most print shops will have a large format plotter that will be capable of producing the prints that you need.
